girlwiththerainysoul | Suppose you were born on a planet other than Earth, what would the position of Earth represent in your birth chart? when Mars represents action, will and energy for us people born on Earth, what would Earth represent for someone who was born on say Mars or Venus or Mercury, etc? |
Gemini30 | The Ascendant. |

can you explain more? you think Earth represents the ascendant for people who were born on Mars? |
yota13 | The personification of earth in greek mythology is Gaia, the ancestral mother of life aka mother earth I think the keywords would be something like life, mother, and water Mars would lose our moon also? The moon exerts a strong influence on us all, the ebb and flow of the tides and the maternal feminine. So then maybe it becomes a different construct of consciousness. Or maybe we are somehow anchored to earth and nothing at all changes. Definitely an interesting question. |
anonymidarkness | I feel like it would have qualities similar to Taurus, feminine yet somewhat grounded. |
Melinn | The greed and "earthy" desires. Or desires that is bad for you. Th ugliest of the human soul etc haha |
girlwiththerainysoul | nice answers to consider thanks all |
Nine | 2nd the Ascendant. Is your question speculative? The planets are moons of the Sun. The Earth's role is consciousness or awareness. |
MoonMystic | I've read Sophia is related to or "is" synonymous with Gaia/Earth. As well wisdom. I see her as the great nurtured. Creator. A grounding force. As a mother, I see her possibly showing some presence in both 4th 5th houses. Cancer being the Moon (4th) and (5th) creations as in childbirths as well as artistic ventures.- of course in Astrology there are The known Earth signs: Taurus, virgo and Capricorn. |

I agree with Taurus. It's an earth sign, LOL. |
Nine | The Earth is the Ascendant, as such it is the point from which we observe the universe. IF the viewer were born on Mars, then the Earth's principle would change. It would represent something different than it represents now. Today, the Earth represents consciousness. |

LOL, good one, what do they say? No $h!t Sulkyarcher (I do know that I myself am also responsible for it {No **** anonymidarkness!!}.) |
Lalafortunaea | This is fascinating. I wonder what it would mean for someone born far away from earth in space on a mission to another planet. Would they literally be out of this world?? And in terms of sci fi - what about all the births in space in star trek? |
